Center of Human Research Protection (CHRP)

The Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) of Taipei Medical University Shuang-Ho Hospital (TMU-SHH) operates under the authority of TMU-SHH’s policy and approved in August 2014. As stated in that policy, the operating procedures in this document serve as the governing procedures for the conduct and review of all human research conducted under the auspices of the TMU-SHH. The HRPP Policy and these operating procedures are made available to all TMU-SHH investigators and study staff and are posted on the TMU-SHH website.

HProtection (CHRP). The Superintendent Dr. Wu appoints Vice Superintendent in Human Research– Dr. Lai – as the Director of CHRP and delegates the authority and primary responsibility to Dr. Lai to maintain and oversee Human Research Protection Program. The organizational chart for HRPP in TMU-SHH is shown as the Figure 1.
